This type of alarm is usually low-cost, simple, and reliable. To operate the device, a laser beam is directed from one point to another, and there is a receiver on the other side of the sensor that detects the laser beam. If a detection occurs, the receiver triggers the circuit, which then sets off an alarm. In this project, we will make a laser security alarm using an SCR (Silicon-Controlled Rectifier). The SCR allows current to flow when it receives a triggering signal. In this project, a triggering signal will be created when the laser beam is interrupted, and the SCR will be triggered. This will activate the alarm circuit, which will sound an alarm. For detailed instructions on this project, you can check out the YouTube video titled “DIY Laser Security System with Alarm Using SCR.“ The video covers all the necessary materials, circuit diagram, assembly steps, and finally, testing the device. This project can be a simple yet effective security system for your home or workplace. However, like any security system, it is recommended to combine this laser security alarm with a series of security measures. #zaferyildiz #laser #alarm #circuit #scr
