Eggs in Hell (Shakshuka) : 에그인헬 (샥슈카) | Ordinary Kitchen 오디너리 키친

Welcome back, I hope everyone is doing well. The virus is getting pretty bad where I am :( Today I will be sharing a Eggs in Hell (Shakshuka) 에그인헬 (샥슈카) recipe. This is not the traditional way but more of a simpler way you can do with what you have at home. Also it is very customizable and as long as you have tomato sauce and eggs, you can add whatever you have in the fridge. Perfect for being stuck at home and don’t know what to do with sauce. Cast Iron Pan I use: Ingredients: 3 eggs 1 ½ cup marinara sauce ½ cup water olive oil 2 sausages (any kind) ½ white onion ½ bell pepper 2-3 garlics minced ½ tsp curry powder or chicken bouillon powder black pepper hot pepper flakes (optional) parmesan cheese (optional) mozzarella cheese (optional) parsley (garnish) Recipe: 1. Chop onions, bell pepper, and sausages then set aside. Mince garlic 2. Heat up a cast iron pan or regular pan and just slightly cover the bottom with olive oil. Add in garlic and cook for a minute, avoid burning the garlic. 3. Add in onions then when soft, add in bell pepper and sausage, and cook together until sausages are cooked. 4. Add in marinara sauce, water, curry powder and mix together. Then grate in parmesan cheese into the sauce and mix together. 5. Crack 3 eggs on top (it helps to make small wells for the eggs) then cover with a lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes or to your preference. 6. When eggs are near done cooking, grate more parmesan cheese on top and add in mozzarella cheese. Cover to let cheese melt then finish by garnishing with parsley.
