HOW DO RUSSIANS CELEBRATE HOLIDAYS?🎄🎁🎅🏼🥂

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Moscow! 🎄 Perhaps the most festive place to go is the GUM Christmas market and ice skating rink, right in the heart of the Red Square ⛸️❤️ I always celebrate Christmas with my family in December, but in Russia the real celebration happens on New Years! 🥂 Many Russians also celebrate Eastern Orthodox Christmas on January 7th. But in order to find out more about how they celebrate, I decided to go and ask them myself! I got lots of merry responses, from what traditions do Russians have to what presents they would like from Grandfather Frost and his Snow Maiden! 🎅🏼 🎁That’s right, Russians don’t have Santa Claus!
