Marnes-la-Coquette. Documentation excerpts, hedgehog represents the Danish ’Association Concerning Information About the Atlantic Pact and Democracy’. The organisation was formed to inform their countrymen of the North Atlantic Treaty Operation and of Denmark’s role in the defense of Western Europe. The hedgehog was adopted in view of the animal’s inoffensive nature unless attacked. The Association has invited the Supreme Commander to accept a gold button in token of his position as ’One twelfth a Danish citizen’. MS.
