Capitol of the Millenium

At St. Paul Minnesota sits a glorius marble structure said to have been built just over a century ago during horse and wagon days... yet a cubic meter of marble weighs close to 6000lbs and it is said to have come from over 1000 miles away. Just how was this done and was it actually a capitol of sorts during the Millenium reign of Christ? How could that be?
