My name is Anna and this is my application for World Youth Festival at Sirius 1. As a person who dedicates their life to biology, I hope science and technology won’t be neglected in Russia in the future. I would like to believe that future’s Russia is a country of high-tech and progress, that biotechnology will grow and bloom so our knowledge and skills will be valuable and useful in our country. 2. The most valuable skills I can share are: scientific writing like applications, motivation letters, building a strong Curriculum Vitae for academia. 3. Here is the book “Рождение сложности”(Birth of complexity) by russian biologist, palaeontologist, head of Department of Biological Evolution at Moscow State University doctor Alexander Markov. The book describes the fascinating experiments and in general how Biological Evolution works. Which probably defined my current career - since I work as a genetic engineer and love it.
