Tales From The Green Valley - November (part 3 of 12)

In this BBC documentary series we get to follow a small group of historians and archeologists as they recreate farm life from the age of the Stuarts. They wear the clothes, eat the food and use the tools, skills and technology of the 1620’s for one year. The third episode takes place throughout November and includes slaughtering and butchering a pig, building a wattle and daub wall, harvesting meddlars, salting a table, combing thatch and pegging it down and making hog’s liver pudding.
