Viking Ship Drakkar Miniature - Popsicle & Bamboo Sticks Tutorial

Hi guys. This is a video tutorial about how to make a Viking ship (Drakkar) out of popsicle and bamboo sticks. Drakkar was the ship which prevailed on the northern seas during the first millennium, travelled from Scandinavia and floated over the waters of Iceland, Greenland and North America. We will need: • Canvas • Toothpicks • Bamboo sticks (1 mm) for the oars • Bamboo sticks (2 mm) for the deck and the hull • Bamboo sticks ( in - 3 mm) for the mast • Twine (0.4 in - 1 mm) • Hardwood sheet for the deck • Popsicle sticks (4.5 in - 11 cm) for the supports of the deck and the dragon’s head • Popsicle sticks (6 in - 15 cm) for the keel, the stern and the prow • Popsicle sticks (8 in - 20 cm) for the shields • Wooden cubes (0.4 in - 1 cm) for the supports of the deck Special thanks to Chulain Music for the tracks.
