Rishi Sunak says Starmer can’t be trusted to run our country in first election rally speech

Sir Keir Starmer cannot be trusted to become Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak has said at the first Conservative election rally. Speaking at the ExCeL Centre in east London, Mr Sunak told gathered Tory activists that the Labour leader “doesn’t have the conviction to stick to anything he’s said” as he kickstarted the party’s campaign.
