Reproducing a Vintage Leather Hippie Bag!

Part 1 here: This week we used the pattern we made in last week’s video to reproduce an accurate hippie bag from the 60’s/70’s, and it came out great! We used leather lacing to assemble all the parts and solid brass hardware to upgrade the original design with a removable shoulder strap. We made this whole cross body from Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather, and wet molded the lace in so it will stay put over the years. Enjoy!
