The excitement has begun! The 4 incoming coronal mass ejections have now arrived, bringing with them a G3 (strong) geomagnetic storm. And that means auroras! Beautiful imagery has already started to come in from Alaska and western Canada. And if the storm continues into tonight, we could see auroral sightings as far south as the US states of Oregon and New York. Clear skies, aurora watchers!
