Sim games are part of my favorite genre of games, most of my last year I spent playing Planet Coaster while playing a lot of Sims the year before. Rimworld is like the absolutely magical mixture of sim, RPG, and RTS with procedural generated scenarios. I simply can’t get enough and I’ll probably quit youtube so I can just play this game 23 hours a day. I fell in love with the music super quick. The music is composed by Alistair Lindsay who was a contributor to my favorite soundtrack of all time, Jet Force Gemini. He has some amazing tutorials on his channel, including the one I used to learn this one! Check it out here and give him a sub: Anyway, I’m super in love with my new Schecter acoustic guitar, the Orleans model. I’ve always wanted to give finger picking steel string styled stuff a try but my old acoustic was just way too uncomfortable to play. This thing plays and sounds like a dream so I thought this song would be a great test drive for it! Not to mention, it was a great way to test out my new Ernie Ball Expression Tremolo pedal for a lot of the cool tremolo effects heard in the background. This was a cover that was super out of my comfort zone so I really wanted to go hard into trying new things so I hope you guys dig it. I think some of my favorite covers are the ones that take me out of my regular workflows and I hope this one will be part of those. Hope you enjoy!
