Eleven drones were downed over Russian territory overnight, according to the defence ministry. It blamed Ukraine for what it called “terrorist attacks by an aircraft-type UAV“. One was shot down over Kaluga - with a further 10 shot down in an apparently bigger offensive over the Kursk region. The ministry did not any details on damage or casualties, but Roman Starovoit, the governor of Kursk, said a drone dropped “two explosive devices on a substation“ in the Belaya settlement in Belovsky district. “One of the transformers caught fire. Five settlements and a hospital were cut off [from power],“ he said. #russia #kursk #russiaukrainewar #mariupol #ukraine #putin #zelensky n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 2:02 RUSSIA’S EYE ON MARIUPOL RESIDENTS 2:54 UKRAINE RETAINS INITIATIVE, CLAIMS UK 4:51 KAZAKHSTAN WON’T HELP RUSSIA EVADE SANCTIONS CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
