Ken Clark Animation (1924)

Check copyright. c1924 Clown animation - tinted amber. We see a clown in black baggy suit with white pom-poms doing a little dance. We then see his animator flicking through a pile of papers - it is as if we see the clown animating from the artist point of view as he moves the papers. The clown sticks his tongue out. The animator talks to his pot of ink. Intertitle reads: “Now you go right back to bed.“ He holds out the can of ink to the clown who shakes his head - he doesn’t want to go back in the pot. The animator tries to persuade him and the clown gets a bit cross. He kicks over the pot of ink then jumps off the piece of paper on to the table then off onto the floor. The animator gets down on his hands and knees to try and catch him. The clown jumps into a hole and out into the street. He then jumps down a hole in the road. He falls down a chasm. The animator looks though the hole. As the clown gets deeper, the tint changes to red. The clown gets hot. Clown gets to the bottom where jets
