Experiential aspect - the aspect of gaining personal experience and learning through the process of creating art. The experiential aspect of being an artist allows for self-expression and exploration of one’s creativity. To possess a talent - to have a natural ability or skill in a particular artistic field. To have a stab at (to have a go at) - to attempt or try something, often for the first time. I’ve always wanted to have a stab at sculpting, but I haven’t had the chance yet. To have an urge to do something - to feel a strong desire or inclination to do something. I’ve always had an urge to express myself through art and create unique pieces. To deck out - to decorate or adorn something in an elaborate or stylish manner. I love to deck out my room with colorful and unique artworks that reflect my personality. Shame on me - an expression used to express self-blame or regret for not having done something. I have never visited an art gallery before, shame on me for missing out on such enriching experiences. Out of my own (free) will - voluntarily, without any external influence or obligation. I decided to visit the art gallery out of my own free will, as I have always been interested in different art forms. To absorb every little detail - to closely observe and take in all the small details of something, such as an artwork. When I visit an art gallery, I make sure to take my time and absorb every little detail of the artworks on display. To evoke emotions - to stir or bring forth emotions in the viewer or audience through artistic expression. The abstract painting evoked a sense of curiosity and wonder in me, as I tried to interpret its meaning. Jam-packed schedule - a schedule that is filled with many activities or commitments. I wanted to visit the art gallery, but my schedule was jam-packed with work and other engagements. It stems from the fact that - it originates or is based on a particular fact or reason. My love for art stems from the fact that it allows me to express my creativity and emotions in a unique way. = = = Time code: 08:46 - Question 5: Do you like modern art or traditional art? I can’t but admire - an expression used to express genuine admiration or appreciation. I can’t but admire the skill and creativity of modern artists who push the boundaries of traditional art forms. It never ceases to amaze me - an expression used to convey constant wonder or surprise. The intricacy and innovation of modern art never cease to amaze me, as artists continue to challenge artistic norms. A conventional person - a person who adheres to traditional or established norms or practices. I appreciate traditional art, but I am not a conventional person when it comes to my artistic tastes.
