Cherry Blossoms bloom early in Japan’s unseasonably warm weather in February

Various cities in Japan’s Kanto region experienced an unseasonably warm day this week. The mild weather gave locals and tourists a chance to admire cherry blossoms. In Kawazu in Shizuoka prefecture and in Miura City in Kanagawa prefecture, visitors were able to enjoy the early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms in temperatures normally felt in April.
