Table lamps are a must in any household. It is a practical helper that looks good and saves our eyes. And who invented the practical assistant? The Banker’s Lamp was an American invention, originally designed for use in banking halls. The first patent for a lamp was filed on May 11, 1909 by the American engineer Harrison D. McFaddin. The original design of the lamp was very simple. The lamp had a brass base that held a shade of green over white glass.
