In this second of three videos, Jason bellchamber shows how to ’ink’ a circular Celtic Cross found on the cannon page of the Book of Kells, page 5r. In the previous segment we constructed the design in pencil. The Celtic Cross is symbolic of the numeral 4. In this case, likely signifying the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Celtic Knots originated in the 6th Century CE.
