Custom Framing #C790

This video shows the steps in the framing process after the carpentry work and hand carving have been completed. The frame is an American Impressionist style frame, C&J #C790. We have built up the rabbet depth in order to accommodate a canvas stretcher. The finish is our 22k gold antique dark finish, and is intended to match the look of the frames from this period.
