Warping a frame loom with a bar heddle - 3 epi or 6 epi
The first step in any weaving process is to warp your loom.
I demonstrate this on my lap loom / frame loom with a bar heddle, which you can find in my shop in various sizes:
In this tutorial, I show you two ways to warp your loom:
02:10 Simple warping method - 1 warp thread per notch, resulting in 3 ends per inch. This will be best suited to very chunky yarn and weaving with children.
06:55 “Double“ warping method - 2 warp threads per notch, resulting in 6 ends per inch. This is more common, and will give you a tighter, more stable fabric.
