Mystic Group of Colombian Lancers Commandos/ Grupo Mistico de Los Lanceros Colombianos

Filmed at the Fuerte Amazonas Training and operations center, where Lancer School is located. The Lancers are an elite army commando unit specializing in counterguerrilla operations, jungle warfare, and raiding. In this ceremony the Mystic Group, the Lancer’s ceremonial team, recite the War Prayer, Prayer to the Soldier, and Prayer to the Lancer of the Colombian army. The War Prayer was written by Lt. Nelson Dario Bedoya Zuluaga 2 weeks prior to being killed in action in the Caguan jungle. The Prayer was found within a notebook in the lieutenant’s possession at the time of his death. It is now learned by all members of the Colombian Army.
