Dear friends, welcome to my walk in the beautiful 13th district of Vienna, called Hietzing. I walk in the urban area of the district and then Iam walking to the beautiful garden of Schönbrunn. There are many historic villas in the green Hietzing, the 13th district. It is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Vienna. Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburgs, is a magnet for visitors with its magnificent interior. Strollers roam its manicured gardens and zoo. High society meets in elegant places around Hietzinger Hauptstrasse, for example in Café Dommayer. The extensive Lainzer Tiergarten is a popular destination for hikers. I enjoyed the walk and hope I can enjoy it virtually too.
