Analyzing a Frame in SolidWorks Simulation

Beam elements are used to perform FEA on a SolidWorks Frame. Shows how to select frame members for analysis, insert joints, fix boundary conditions, apply loads. Results are produced for maximum stress, displacement, shear-moment, and factor of safety. Frames are used in FSAE, Formula Student, Baja, Formula Hybrid and other vehicle competitions.
