6 dead in Jakarta after police, protesters clash in post election results riots

Following the announcement of Indonesian election results, protests that started peacefully on Tuesday (May 21) turned violent in the evening, forcing police to fire tear gas to disperse crowds. Six people were killed and more than 200 people injured in clashes with police, according to Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan.
