HD Soviet October Revolution Parade, 1976 Part I Парад 7 Ноября

This is the parade on Moscow’s Red Square devoted to the 59th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution, 7 November 1976. This parade would mark the last appearance of Politburo member Nikolai Podgorny, who was Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet at the time. Taking the salute is newly appointed Soviet Defense Minister, Marshal of the Soviet Union Dmitriy Ustinov. Commanding the parade is commander of the Moscow Military District, Colonel General Vladimir Govorov. Music performed by the Combined Orchestra of the Moscow Garrison conducted by Colonel Nikolai Mikhailov (his first parade as chief conductor). Like me on Facebook:
