Moment [Gorillaz Edit]

Song: Lil Death - Moment slowed down. Long time no see. I’m kinda late to the whole “Lost Chord” discussion, but I really wanted to do something reflective of the time Murdoc specifically spent in Plastic Beach, since he was definitely the most emotional in the video. I have... some thoughts about the video itself but I’m just not sure where to start with it, so I figured I might as well talk about it in the replies I guess. But I did enjoy it a lot. I wanted to include more of the heavier aspects about phase 3, but there was only so much I could fit without it dragging on a bit. So I mostly just focused on Murdoc and 2D’s abusive ass relationship during that time, and how it still affects them to this day. I also just liked the parallels between Murdoc grabbing 2D’s hand in desperation and Murdoc grabbing Boogie Man’s hand, as if he’s accepting his ‘challenge’. That challenge can basically mean anything, but with how close to death Murdoc was on that island and the symbolic, looming Death-like figure
