Control Room Building of Sabalan Methanol plant in Assaluye

Control room building is an industrial building typically for installing the main control machines and corressponding personels. This building is designed to resist explosions in the plant, so it is a heavy reinforced concrete building.   Architectural design has been carried out by Revit Architectural software and imported into the Etabs for the structural design. After designing the structural components, the model exported into the Revit Architecture and Tekla structure software simultaneously. CIP detailing started in the Tekla and architectural model updated in the Revit model. This model then exported into Revit MEP for the mechanical design and detailing. Actually creating the structural drawing for this concrete building was controversial. Large slabs and walls have too many rebar marks which make creating drawings difficult, but finally using appropriate drawing classifier make it possible. Actully plant owner didn’t accept types of drawings created by Tekla for the concrete structures in the beg
