A moderately shallow magnitude 6.2 earthquake was reported at night near Unalaska, Alaska, USA. According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake hit on Friday, January 21st, 2021, at 8:17 pm local time at a moderately shallow depth of 42.8 km. Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 6.2 as well.
