Israel Hamas war - Day 3, What we know so far

Israel is continuing its military response after hundreds of its citizens were murdered in a multi-pronged, co-ordinated massacre by terror group Hamas. It began on Saturday morning when Hamas terrorists indiscriminately fired thousands of rockets into Israel from Gaza. More than 700 Israelis have been killed and thousands were injured in the horrifying surprise attacks. Israeli military forces have now declared a “state of war“ after the horror unfolded this morning. Footage on social media shows cars and buildings up in flames, with large plumes of smoke seen from miles away. The Israeli Air Force carried out multiple strikes on Gaza buildings said to be Hamas military targets. The Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza said at least 300 Palestinians were killed in air strikes and over 1,700 were injured.
