However, via a licensing agreement with ZDF in Germany the bulk of the performance was broadcast on their “Disco 73” programme and a copy was retained. Demon Music Group have now been able to combine this with the Super 8 footage to complete the performance for the first time. 20th Century Boy remains one of the most-loved tracks with its distinctive guitar riff instantly recognised for its power and style.
