Russian Soldier Catches Drone Chasing Him, Blown Up | Ukraine Claims Orlan Kill at ‘Record Height’

A video that has surfaced online from the Ukraine war zone shows a Russian soldier reportedly catching a FPV drone with his bare hands. However, what might sound like a heroic act later turned out to be fatal for the trooper who died after the UAV exploded. On September 5, a Ukrainian military unit released initial footage showing a Russian soldier catching the drone and running with it in his hands. On September 8, the brigade released an extended video which shows the drone detonating in his hand and killing him instantly. This footage, recorded by the drone’s camera, shows the soldier first trying to evade and flee from the drone before eventually catching it. A Ukrainian aerial scout later told Kyiv Post that the drone’s detonation board, responsible for triggering the explosion, may sometimes malfunction. However, operators can usually remotely initiate the blast, he added. n18oc_world n18oc_crux #russiaukrainewar #ukraine #drones #warnews #russia 0:00 INTRODUCTION 2:00 UKRAINE “DOWNS ORLAN DRONE 3.6 KMS ABOVE GROUND” 3:25 DRONE WAR HEATS UP, UKRAINE “DOUBLES” ARMS PRODUCTION CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
