#enya #lotr Boy Singer Cormac Thompson sings May it Be (Enya) from Lord of the Rings So why did I sing #mayitbe ? 😊🎶 2019 - I learnt it at my v first #NYCGB (National Youth Choir GB). The Boys Choir sang it and I loved the song July 2021 - Summer project .. set by mum! Choose something to learn to sing and play on the piano! I chose ‘May it Be’. My good friend Anthony White arranged it for me so I could do that. Aug. 2021 - I went to Steinway Hall with Dominic Ferris. I met Simon Hanhart that day too. We were just messing about, I wasn’t v good at it then but I played it for Simon anyway. He loved it, we chatted to Dom & we decided it had to be done 🎹 Still August 2021 - But at Masterchord Studio now, we recorded ‘May it Be’ Dom’s version 🤗 So the track is 12 mths old! Recorded when I was 12 🎶 We never meant to wait this long. It was to go out Feb. 2022 after ‘Empty Chairs’ but then along came BGT … then school
