I hate modern video games. Growing up, i always loved video games. I spent an excessive amount of time during my childhood playing all kinds of games: shooters, platformers, puzzles, sports, racers and RPGs. However this love has slowly burnt out over the years as I have seen an industry I once loved cheapen itself as it integrated more into the mainstream. As online features began to surface, aggressive capitalism began to set in along with the associated shady business practices ie loot boxes and the plethora of overpriced features you see roaming around nearly every game. Single player campaigns, my favourite sections, have taken a hit in order to facilitate the much more profitable multiplayer portions, driving me away from the pass time I once loved With games such as battlefront 2, Todd Howard’s fallout 76, shadow of war or any of the thousand call of duties imprinted on my brain, i rant about why i have come to dislike modern gaming I hate modern gaming why i hate modern video games I hate video
