Defenders of the Sky: Future Ukrainian F-16 Pilots train in the UK (Documentary)

For two years, our cameras have been documenting the work across UK Defence to train and equip Ukraine. Episode two of our documentary series follows Wing Commander ‘Carlos’, who is tasked with leading the UK’s delivery of flight training to future Ukrainian F-16 pilots. After some initial English language training, his students take to the skies of Britain for the first time. We also catch up with the British Army and Sergeant Shaun Dick from 4 SCOTS, as they continue their Junior Leader training for the Ukrainian infantry. Challenger 2 students progress with their tank training and we also follow Yana, an Op INTERFLEX interpreter, as she travels north for a rare opportunity to see her fiancé as he begins a Commanders course on British soil before heading back to the frontlines.
