YEAR OF THE OWL (Alex Rudinger & Francesco Artusato)

Personally, I really hate self-titled albums (I like it better when albums have THEIR OWN title... What can I say, ya’ll. I just think S/T album titles are lame). So instead of making the first ALBUM self-titled, I suggested just naming the first SINGLE the project title. & Boom, here it is: YEAR OF THE OWL. We’re basically just gonna write / record some songs whenever we feel like it, have em’ professionally mixed / mastered, & release em’ one (or a couple) at a time on Spotify / AppleMusic / all streaming platforms. Eventually, once we have enough songs, we’ll surely re-release them as an entire album too. But this just seemed like a fun change of pace / more ’modern’ approach to writing & releasing music (at least, relativ
