SpaceX is counting down to the liftoff of a Falcon Heavy carrying the ViaSat 3 Americas broadband satellite to a near-geostationary orbit. Liftoff from pad 39A is scheduled for 8:26 p.m. EDT (0026 UTC). The demanding flight profile will prevent SpaceX from reusing all three of the rocket’s first stage boosters.
