Shostakovich - Impromptu Op. 33| Loiko, Zagumennikov

► Instagram: Lev Loiko (viola) and Dmitry Zagumennikov( guitar) play Impromtu for viola and piano by Dmitri Shostakovich (arr. for viola and guitar by Dmitry Zagumennikov) In 2017, a previous unknown work by Shostakovich was discovered among the documents belongs to Vadim Borisovsky, the violist of Beethoven Quartet, who premiered many Shostakovich’s quartets. It was written on 2 May 1931 and was dedicated to Alexander Ryvkin, violist of Glazunov Quartet.
