A song written and performed by Kris Lannen and Richard Trethewey of The Grenaways inspired by the ’wassail’ at North Cornwall’s Haywood Cider Farm. An event where people from all around the community and further afield come together to take part in the ancient tradition of gathering in the orchard, drinking cider and singing to the trees to promote a good harvest for the coming year... The film was shot on the night of the wassail on 27 January 2018 and features many of the wonderful local characters that make these events so special, including Cats Eye Morris who led the blessing of the old tree...
