The Idiotbox Death Ray is a revamped version of the original Death Ray Frequency Mangler and it is an AWESOME square wave fuzz! This pedal can go from a high filtered squelchy fuzz to a low buzzed out bit crushy mess! The FREQ knob controls the main pitch of the square wave divider while the CYCLE knob slews the duty cycle of the wave.. With the CYCLE knob on full blast the FREQ knob gives more of what you would think a square wave filtered fuzz would sound like, where if you back off on the CYCLE knob you can get all kinds of rad lo-fi tracking blip outs when you let notes ring out!
