Dmitry says:
I first heard what happened on the 6th or 7th of August, when the whole mess started. I was in Moscow, working. I rushed to Kursk, met up with my friend, and we went to our home village together.
We were yelling: ‘Is anyone alive? Come out, let’s evacuate.’ People slowly started to come out. There were some booby traps scattered around. For 20 minutes, we were sitting under the trees. Finally, a drone that was making circles above us dropped nearby. We ran to other trees. We hid there, and then we slowly started to gather people. We walked in a line, and the locals followed us.
