All the compositions of the album are united by the audio library “Sounds of Chernobyl“ — a collection of sounds of the Exclusion Zone, which were recorded by me and the ARTEFACT project in 2018 and included: the crackle of the dosimeter, the Ferris wheel’s squeak, the noise of the Red Forest, echoes, the sound of the running water, and technical sounds“. “This is a unique project no one has done before, and this thematic album remains an important milestone in the musical history of Ukraine and dares I say the world.“ This year, the project was also supported by diverse Ukrainian artists Stasik, KAZKA, ATOMIC SIMAO, Vagonovozhatye, Serhiy Mikhalok (Lapis 98, Brutto), and Oleksandr Chemerov (The Gitas, Dymna Sumish).
