Model realistic miniature trees easy & low cost

It´s difficult to model a really realistic trunk. Why not let mother nature do the job? In this tutorial we´re combining a twig from the garden with other low cost materials to create a really nice looking miniature tree. This type of tree is reasonable easy and quick to make and suitable for both model railroad, diorama and miniature terrain rpg style. I build lots of these for my Märklin h0-scale layout. The combination of low cost and quick process is perfect.
