Hello Everybody, For this quarter, a lot of people who loved my previous videos have asked me to show them the skills of the great master artisans (very few people alive) and even older but they’re still trying day-by-day to pass on traditional values to the next generations. #bamboowork #arrowtool #mastercraftsman To thank and honor them, we decided to create a series of video shows about them and their work from the footage available from my friends and myself. Everything has been redone. I have edited the script, rewrote the content, new voices were recorded, new effects work, new music, new footage added and a new creation is created as follows: “Arrow Master Craftsman: Sugiyama Masamune - Stunning Battle Tool“ Today, this video will probably be more appealing because of the appearance of Arrow Master Craftsman: Sugiyama Masamune - 杉山正宗さん (1910-1999) Manufacture techniques of bow and arrow were being devised from around the middle of the Heian era (794 -1185) and that was completed in the early Kamakura period (1185 – 1333). was born in 1910. He received the hard guidance from Mr. Toruzu (a craftsman of the Mito clan) since he was 15. Therefore, ’s technique will be regarded as a flow of the former Mito clan craftworker. As arrows use 4 pairs as a set, you need to make 4 arrows of shape, weight, and color. passed away on July 6, 1999. We pray for his soul to rest in peace.
