В итоге двигатель стал выдавать “чистых“ 100 л.с. и почти 140 Нм крутящего момента.Модель выпускалась до 2003г. Однако спустя 10 лет в 2013 г компания хонда решает воскресить эту модель в новом исполнении и представляет круизер - Honda GL1800 F6C Valkyrie.Аббревиатура F6C расшифровывается как - Flat Six Custom - круизер с 6-цилиндровым оппозитным двигателем.В отличии от прародителя ,который имел множество отличий от GL1500 Gold Wing ,новое поколение Валькирии отличается от Gold Wing 1800 не так сильно - двигатель, рама и маятник остались без изменений. Основные отличия заключаются во внешнем виде, колесах, тормозной системе, сиденье, руле и некоторых параметрах - таких как угол вылета передней вилки и настройка выхлопа.
