Over the years there have been a number of reported collisions between fishing vessels and large trading ships off the Australian coast, not to mention near misses and unreported incidents. This video looks at collsion prevention from the perspectives of watchkeepers on both merchant shipping and commercial fishing vessels, and provides relevant information on rules regarding the prevention of collisions at sea.
