World Environment Day 2021 | Theme “Ecosystem Restoration” | United Nations World environment day takes place every year on the fifth of June, since 1974. United Nations led the program to promote worldwide awareness and action for the environment. Governments, Non-governmental organizations, communities, and celebrities over a hundred and fifty countries participate each year. Years from 2021 to 2030 has declared as the United Nations decade on ecosystem restoration. United Nations environmental program and the food and agriculture organization takes the leadership to prevent the loss of ecosystems, and to promote afforestation. This year Pakistan host the world environment day in partnership with the UN environment program. The theme is Ecosystem restoration. And the focus on resetting our relation with nature.
