Ballet Dancers Emerging From Clock (1930-1939)

This is a duplicate item - see record for UN 58 W. Item from an unknown source - probably a Pathetone. Very cute item featuring young ballet dancers (between 8 and 13 years old I would guess) who emerge from a model clock then dance around in front of it. Looks like it was shot in the Pathe studio. The girls dance to some jolly glockenspiel and piano music. One of the girls who dances a solo is a bit of an ugly duckling, the girl who follows her looks like she was the star pupil. Nice item - could be used to illustrate concepts of youth, innocence or maybe childhood rivalry. Date unknown - 1930s. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
