A project in collaboration with composer Sergio Assad and integrated by different women guitarists. The “Prelude in D Major“ is the only piece in this series that has not been composed on purpose for this series. This prelude is part of a set of preludes commissioned to Sergio Assad by Ricardo Gallén. Ricardo agreed to use this work for the series and to dedicate it to Valeria, who has been his student for several years. Despite being very young, Valeria can boast a great career as a guitarist. When she was only 14 years old, she was invited as a guest artist and jury member of a children’s guitar festival and competition in Puebla (Mexico). She has won numerous prizes both nationally (in Russia, her country of origin) and internationally. In July 2022 she finished her master studies at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar under the direction of Professor Ricardo Gallén. Enjoy this energetic interpretation, full of light and full of personality that Valeria makes of this wonderful prelude. 🇪🇸 Para Knobloch es un placer presentar el primer vídeo de la serie “The woman and the guitar”. Un proyecto en colaboración con el compositor Sergio Assad e integrado por diferentes mujeres guitarristas. El “Preludio en Re Mayor” es la única obra de esta serie que no ha sido compuesta a propósito para ello. Este preludio forma parte de una serie de preludios encargados a Sergio Assad por Ricardo Gallén. Ricardo cedió al uso de esta obra para la serie y a que fuera dedicada a Valeria, que ha sido su alumna durante varios años. A pesar de ser muy joven, Valeria puede presumir de una gran trayectoria como guitarrista. Con tan solo 14 años fue invitada como artista y miembro del jurado de un festival y concurso infantil de guitarra en Puebla (México). Ha ganado numerosos premios nacionales (en Rusia, su país de origen) e internacionales. En julio de 2022 acabó sus estudios de máster en la Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt en Weimar bajo la dirección del profesor Ricardo Gallén.
