Luciano Pavarotti, Orchestre de Paris, James Levine - Caruso (Live)
On July 10, 1998, the world’s most celebrated trio, The Three Tenors, re-united for a performance before an audience in Paris one hundred times the size of their Rome concert, and with a television audience estimated at nearly two billion viewers. Set against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti were joined by the Orchestre de Paris and conductor James Levine for a spectacular evening of sight and sound.
Marking the 25th anniversary of the event, Decca releases a special edition including the original CD album and the complete concert on DVD with artist interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. A visual album is also available.
