run a 220 Volt light bulb on a 9 Volt battery - win or fail?

My “run a energy safing bulb on 1 battery and a 2 transistor inverter“ experiment was a bit of a failure. It did blink but I guess 9 Volt wasn’t enough to make it work. For this project, I used one inverter transformer and a CCFL (cold-cathode fluorescent lamp) from an old LCD monitor. The 2 transistors are NPN, type BD737 from a (very old) old cassette player. The 2 resistors are 82 Ohm (grey-red-black) and 1/4th Watt. I think almost any NPN transistor in this package should do the job. It has a BCE pin-
